AMP to support custom JavaScript with amp-script

Google announced that AMP will support custom JavaScript. This is a teaser of what is to be announced at the upcoming AMP conference in Tokyo, Japan. JavaScript is not just one of the oldest languages for the web, it is almost one of the fastest growing. So now that AMP will support it, developers can more widely adopt AMP on their web applications and web sites.

Google Still Working On Reindexing Pages That Dropped Out Of The Index From Thursday

SEOs began noticing that Google was removing tons of pages from their index. Some sites were seeing a nice chunk of their web pages being de-indexed, removed from the Google index, and thus not showing up in the Google search results. It is hard to say how big this was as Google won’t say.

Google Search Console adds Android app filters to performance report

Google announced that for those who have an Android app associated with their website can now get data about the app’s performance in Google Search Console. You can now see your app’s clicks, impressions, CTR, and position with a separate search appearance in the performance report. Also, there are signs of another filter coming to support showing Google Discover feed related data.
